Happy Sunday Friends !
Looks at these cutties Ashley & Ryan from Health Quest .
I took my camera in and took a few photos of my 2 favorite people (Ashley & Ryan ) .
My Last day of therapy was suppose to be this past Friday but my RA was flared up due to all this rain and Thunder storms we have been having so my offical last day will be this upcoming Tuesday
I am so Thankful for Ashley and Ryan pushing me through all the pain and tears 3 times a week for the last 7 weeks .
Here is the fancy tool Ashley uses on me ( Not sure what she calls it ) every time to help break up the scar tissue/ swelling . It's not one of my favorite tools she uses since its painful but it does work ( Praise God ! ) Here she is using it on my hamstrings which are still very swollen .
I am still amazed it been 10 weeks since the accident / surgery . Sometimes I think wow It's ONLY been 10 weeks ( 2 1/2 months) and then other times it seems like a lifetime ago . Next week when I am in Fiji I have alittle something being delivered to the both of them thanking them for everything they did to help me in my recovery .
I am not at 100% in my walking ~ still 100% better than where I was BUT I feel as though I am still "thinking " while I walk does that make sense ? I still have swelling BUT Praise God I have a leg to think about while walking and that it is swollen 🙂 .

Until later.. Happy Stampin!
Thanks, Dawn, for posting that video! We ARE Boston strong! The marathon runs through my town and the other night there was a nice ceremony in the center – there was so much patriotism there you would have thought it was the fourth of July! As different as we might all be, we come together every time to protect our own. Hopefully these evil people will figure that out and stop trying to take us down!
SO SO happy about your leg and ENJOY FIJI!!!!! XOXOXOXO
For someone who lives here in MA, what happened at this game was AMAZING! Thankfully we weren’t effected by Monday’s event, but the stress the rest of the week has been crazy.
Dawn, I know exactly what you mean about the “thinking” while walking. I had knee surgery last year. That is exactly what I talked to my therapists about. When they would tell me to bend or do something with the other leg, it was automatic. When told to do something with the injured leg, I had to stop and think through the process. I still occasionally have to think it through when I first get up after being seated for awhile. I guess it is just a process of letting the damaged nerves reconnect to the pathway to the brain.
Physical therapy-been there and done that. I think it was one of the hardest events in my life. Mine was because of an mishap. I’m glad that you will be able to do Fiji. Thanks for the Sonshine regardless of circumstance.
Scar tissue can be the most aggravating cuss….so glad you are doing so well. Soon you’ll be to your goal and back to good as new. Enjoy your trip!!!
Dawn,
so happy to hear your are recovering so well and so very happy you can make it to Fiji.
big hugs,
Vicky
So glad that you have recovered so well and are continuing to improve. Especially glad that you will be able to go on the SU trip. Sue G
So happy you are recovering so well!
Thanks for the video! Made me cry and be proud at the same time!!!
America, land of the free and home of the brave … INDEED!!!! No one can ever, ever question the loyalty and determination of your country and it’s people. So much went on last week and I’m sure people all over the world were glued to their TV’s just like our family was, watching the events unfold as they did. All I can say is … DON’T MESS WITH THE U.S. !!!
And you girl … off to Fiji … well deserved trip for sure … hope you have an amazing time.
Dawn, I am so happy to see that you have recovered so nicely. Have a wonderful time in Figi.
Thank you for sharing the video. Goosebumps and tears were certainly present.
Dawn I am so happy that your leg is healing so well. I think Fijian sunshine is definitely a good prescription for the next stage of your recovery :o)
Your blog and your videos are so great to read and watch – thank you!
Susie
