It’s a really happy Friday here at the Griffith home
I have a house full of amazing glitter queens .
Today we will be making this beautiful card that
I received from Candy Micheal .
I love her card , the color combo she used it’s so soft and elegant.
I really love the new Soft Sea Foam color.
I had this stamp set for awhile and I hadn’t used it much since I wasn’t
drawn to using the Nigh of Navy with it and you know all those darker colors
NOT that those don’t look nice but the
stamp set with these softer colors are really stunning .
Today I wanted to do something slightly different .
I made my version of Candy’s card but today we will make
a slightly different version …. so when we are finished we will see all three
versions, kind of like a stepped up version~ but not really stepped up
just changing a couple things.
For example :
On Candy’s sample I believe she used the
new Gray Granite card stock #
for her net
I changed mine to Crumb Cake card stock … seriously though
I think I like the gray version more LOL! ( shown in video )
We will also be changing the embossing folder .
Let me know which one you like best or if you know of a different color combo
I should try I would love to know .
I will send my two versions out as a R.A.K /Blog Candy
to two people on Monday ….. that’s 1 version per person.

I like Candy”s embossing folder best. The other too are good but I think hers looks like more like water. Thanks for sharing!

Love all 3 cards. The ruffle background is my favorite on this one because it’s a little more subtle than the wavy one. Love the textured folder! It reminds me of the textured cardstock that SU used to sell. Have a super fun day with your lucky guests!

These are great. It just shows how important seeing a sample is as when I first saw the stamp set I just thought it was cute but didn’t think it was something I would use. Now, I’m excited about it.

Dawn I love them all! The middle one is my favorite… the waves embossing is more subtle than the original… the last one I can’t see the “water” so much. The colors are fantastic and the details really make the scene!. Hugs

I love the one you made on the video best of all. The subtle background is so subtle need to see that in person. But the dimensionals and extra wrap of linen thread I think really adds to the card. Wahoo, blog candy.

This card is beautiful. I love anything nautical, and I’m glad Stampin Up has finally made a bunch of framelets to go with the stamps.

Hi Dawn~ All 3 cards are great … My favorite is the first one you made. I probably should add this set to my wish list. My nieces have called me Aunt Squid since they were little. LOL
I really couldn’t decide between the first two. Love your nails. LOL
This set also passed me by Dawn in the catalogue; it is not until I have seen all the different projects that have been made with it that I have been more inclined to think what I could do with the bundle too. I love all the different projects but I am still not convinced by the new embossing folder on the third card. TFS :O) xxx
