Today My Cousin Ruthie will be coming over and we will be brainstorming designs for Our Cousin Sarahs wedding invitations .. Thank you all for your insight on pricing my craft show goodies . This will be my 1st ever Craft show and even though I am exited I still am not sure what to expect Personally I had been thinking I was going to sell the criss cross card and notes for between 5-6 dollars and after reading everyones thoughts Maybe I will sell them for 8.00… I think things sell better if there is a varitiy of high priced items and low priced items I am going to try and keep everything under the 15.00 mark because I do want to make sales and get my name out there and maybe keeping these criss cross note holders at a some what middle price , it should do good..
here is what I would say a Low priced item would be The sour cream containers for Snowman poop I seen Taylors tags on hers and fell in love with the way she did hers so I put my own twist on mine .. I dont think this will be the final design since I just got in my small cello bags and plan to play around with them today sometime .. even though the vellum sourcream containers seem more eye catching But is not as cost effective as the sm cello bags ..( will keep you all posted on what I come up with for them ..) But what do you all think about selling these at 2.00 each .. I will also be making Raindeer poop ones with raisins.. I personally think I wil try and make alot of these since my main focus is men at my craft show . These cute poop items may be a big hit with them .. I also plan to have a basket of cards ( made from swaps ) for 1.00 each( dose that sound like a good price? ) and also sets of Christmas cards , gift packages of cards, cute and handy gifts like acrylic frames for post it notes, envelope notecard holder , I was also thinking of making a mixed pack of cards for hubbys with ( a anniversary , birthday , valentines day, sweetest day ) a year full of cards he could use for his wife/girlfriend .. stay tuned for these items .. so you can help price these also .:-)
Here are a few photos of my dads scrapbook my mom and daughter found on Sunday . thank you all for asking me to share it with you ..
His scrapbook is dated back to 1951 so needless to say this thing is falling apart with each turn .. but oh so Precious.. there are photos of him , and a few of his teachers , report cards, lots of birthday cards ..( CAN YOU SAY…TONS OF IDEAS FOR DAWN!! ) one thing I noticed was that alot of these cards have alot of play on words .. and I just love that ( example .. the drum card says .. Here’s a wish you can’t "BEAT" Corny I know but I love it .. and also alot of pop up cards But one question I would like to ask why OH why did they send my Dad Pink. flowery cards .. HUMMM I now its the thought that counts BUT wouldnt you agree that this is a BIG NO! NO ! today in 2006 ..
also writtings from my My dads Mom/ My grandma which goes to show you even though you may hate your writting, Please understand … 50 years later someone will treasure your writting .. Like we do with this book .
Thanks for peeking in today
until later .. Happy Stampin!

Great snowman poop – so cute! The scrapbook is such a treasure, literally a peek into yesteryear! Thanks for sharing.
Cute containers! I love the scrapbook and those cards are so cute! I’m not as old as your dad and I have some of those in my scrapbook too. Thanks for sharing a part of your past!
Dawn, that scrapbook is a treasure! What a great find! I think selling the poop for a $1.00 is a good idea! The gift sets will be good as well, the main idea like you were thinking is to keep them at $15.00 or under especially for the craft show were there will be mostly men.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE the cowboy on the scrapbook!
thats what I love best- cowboy stuff!
your book is wonderful and they sent flowers as at that time thats pretty much all there was!
thanks for sharing and keep stamping so I have a wonderful place to come each morning to see my friend!
Love ya tons!
great job! wouldn’t change a thing.
besides the sentimental value of your scrapbook treasure find, i wonder if it has some historical value since it is well over 50 years old?
Your father’s scrapbook is wonderful. Your grandmother certainly was quite creative. Back then they had very little to work with and just look at how much she did. You must be thrilled to have this book.
love the poop containers lol! What do the saying’s inside say? Dawny I guess you get your creativity honestly! The scrapbook is wonderful! what a great token to have .
