Hi Stampers:
Here is my open swing top card I made this past weekend. You can check out the video I did on how to make this style card HERE .
I thought since I was asked by Maria on my Cbox yesterday about offering blog candy and since I haven't done one in awhile why not do one today :)
While standing at the check out line at my local store yesterday I picked up the People Magazine and thumbing through I seen towards the back 2 photo's of the same photo just things were not the same as in the other photo so it got me thinking .. (HUMMM I know that could be dangerous 🙂
So I thought we would have some fun today . I made the above card as my "Before " sample, Then I made a card very simular to that card, which will be considered my "After " Card
Here is what you need to do . In the comment section below this post ~
List the (12) things I did different on my "After " card compared to my "Before " Card (each item that changed must be listed separtely and NOT group together )
and the 1st person ( Jennifer Phillips got all correct ~ check list of 12 at very bottom if you want to know ) to list all 12 correctly will get this blog candy + the "After" Card .
Somethings are obvious and some are subtel changes BUT You must List All 12 things that are different on the "After" card -vs- the "Before " card
Dawns Side Note : I will mention that I used the same Whisper white card stock , Baja breeze card stock along with the Walk in the park designer paper # 115123 the same punches and the Great Friend Stamp set # 113792 for both cards .

I think This may be to easy ( This is my 1st Before & After ) so we may have to do another in the near future~ that's if you like playing :)
As soon the 1st person lists all 12 correctly I will post all 12 differences here on this post so you will know someone has listed all 12 and the Before & After Blog candy has ended .

The After card :
1.Embossed top flap
2.Inside greeting used Baja Breeze ink
3. Silver Brad
4. Whisper white Scallop edge punch was sponged with Baja breeze
5. Butterfly was stamped with Going gray
6.Bottom Sq layer was going gray card stock
7.Ribbon was Whisper white Taffeta
8.Designer paper is layed Horizontal
9. "For you" was stamped with going gray
10.Large oval punch Going gray
11. Scallop oval punch Baja Breeze
12. NO glitter

1. The top part of the card that swings up is embossed
2. The sentiment on the inside is a different color
3. The brad that was used for the hinge is different
4. Different color ribbon
5. The butterfly is a different color
6. No glitter on the butterfly on the “after” card
7. Less white scalloped edge is showing on the “after” card
8. The mats below the butterfly have a different color gray
9. The “for you” sentiment is a different color
10. The mats under “for you” were reversed (gray on top and baja on the bottom vs. baja on top and gray on the bottom)
11. Different grays used as mats under the “for you”
12. The designer paper is facing a different way

I’m gunna give it a stab…
1. After card has clear embossed leaves.
2. Sentiment on card is ‘inked differently, Before – with ink, After – versamark and pastel chalks.
3.Layering of CS inder b’fly is in different depths of blue and grey tones.
4. Before B’fly – stamped once, After b’fly – stamped off on scrap and then stamped on card.
5. Before b’fly is blinged with glitter.
6. Different brad is used on both cards.
7. Ribbon colour is different on both cards.
8. Scallop border is slightly highter on the Before than the After card.
9. Orientation of base background stamp is different, Before – Vertical, After – horizontal.
10. Layering of ‘For You’ sentiment CS is in a different order.
11. Chalked/sponged edge on After scalloped edge.
12.Flat knot tied on Grey ribbon, round knot on white ribbon.
