Hi Stampers :
Today I want to show you how to use your Big Shot #113439 to emboss aluminum foil that you seen on my Many Mower card from yesterday HERE.
I will be using the Backgrounds #1 texturz plates #114512 the Tiny polka dot side. After trying this a few times I found a way to emboss this very thin foil . You may have already known this But for me I guess it took me alittle longer 🙂

Kiaora from New Zealand Dawn. I just love love love your vid’s. This technique works best for me if I glue the foil to the card first and then emboss it when it is dry. I cover the card in glue then use my roller and Hey presto! No air bubbles!! Teeheee. Keep up the awesome work doll. cheers Anita x
After I stick the foil to the cardstock, I use my dies to cut out fun shapes, swirlies and stuff. Pretty cool! Glad you are having such a great vacation!

Could you attach the foil to the cardstock before you run it through the Big Shot to avoid getting air bubbles?

I loved the look of this technique, Dawn, so had to give it a try. Of course, I had to change it a lot ’cause I don’t own a Big Shot or the Texturz plates, but it came out great! You can see it on my blog. I love all your videos and learn so much. Thanks for all you do.

I only have a Cuttlebug and I find gluing kitchen foil to card stock before running it through with an embossing folder stops it from tearing and I don’t squash the texture when I attach the foil to my cards 🙂 I like Suzi’s comment about gluing to card and die cutting shapes out… I will have to try that next too.
