Happy Sunday Friends !
This past week we have been busy with getting our bathroom done But that was put on hold for a wee bit while the tile had time to set before grouting . While we waited for 24 hrs to pass for tile to set Hubby replaced our hot water heater …
Oh my goodness friends seriously you all should check your water heater . What we found out was that we had our water heater ever since we purchased the house back in 1994.
The hot water heater was put in our house back in 1993 and well that was over 17 yrs ago and what hubby found out from Home depot was that the water heater we had was suppose to be for about 9 years …. Hummm 8 years on over time OH my goodness..
It's amazing that any water could even get through the hole cause it was so curoated and looking at what came out when we drained it … Lets just say GROSS GROSS GROSS!!!
We are very Thankful we got a new one ..
The new one should be good for 12 years .. Just have to remind ourselfs to drain the water heater every year .

Update on Hubbys head :
Rich is doing much better now ( Praise God !) The cut is starting to heal and is iching like crazy . His hair has started to grow back . His head has a slight dent in that area ..( Not sure what else to call it since it dips inward slightly ) There is one tiny area that hair hasn't started growing yet, we shall see what happens with that.
Next Sunday he will get the staples removed he will be so happy to get them out .
Jessie has offically started working on customers at Cosmetology school she gets walks in's and also appointments~ she loves it .
She has been enjoying her new job also. Seriously it seems like we hardly ever see her now between school and work But it's great she is busy.
We also bought Jessie a new bed last night so it's GOOD BYE twin size Loft bed Dad made her & HELLO full size bed .
For my Sunday share Not sure if you seen this video~ if so its worth another watch. This sweet little girl tells the story of Jonah Like NO other . I love all the added details she puts into it. She is soo adorable.
Have a Great Sunday friends.
Until later.. Happy Stampin!

LOVE that video! She’s a GREAT little story teller!!
Love your Sunday shares Dawn. This one was adorable.
Dawn, thank you for sharing the video. It was quite appropriate that my kids and I watched it today. They did the story of Jonah in our Children’s Church today and my middle son played the part of the ship captain. We loved the video and the little girl did a great job telling the story.
What happened to your hubby’s head?
I knew you’d like this video!
Ohmygosh! What an adorable video, Dawn!! That little girl told an amazing story and had it all memorized! I can totally see my Bella doing that someday, lol.
So glad to hear your hubby’s head is doing better, even if it is itchy!
Good news on the waterheater. Sounds like your house is turning into a palace!
Yeah on Jesse enjoying her new skills!!! You must be so very proud of her!
Dawn it always a joy to visit you sight. The video today was so cute. Thanks
Glad hubby’s head is getting better. He will have to get himself a helper when he does overhead stuff. Dawn? Keep up the good work you two.
Be glad the water heater has done so well all these years. Last year I fell and hurt my knee and was only able to hobble from bed to bathroom for weeks. Two days after my accident our hot water heater burst all over the laundry room. My hubby is not very mechanically inclined and we had to wait for help to install the new one. He shut off all water to the upstairs–Where I was–for 2 days!!!! Not Fun! Glad you were able to get it done before anything happened.
What an adorable video. Thank you for sharing.
