Hi Stampers :
Today is one of those days that I remember exactly where I was and what I was doing 10 years ago on 9-11-2001 . I am sure most of you remember as well. I was waiting in the parking lot for Red Wings boots store to open and I was listening to the radio to pass the time.
When I heard what happened I immediately went home and when I got home the 2nd airplane hit the 2nd tower I couldn't stop crying . Even after 10 years its all so fresh in my mind . Such a sad day in America .
Update on Jessie Cosmetology exam last Tuesday She didn't pass. We are currently waiting for the letter to arrive to look over what she did or didn't do then she will reschedule her exam again . I remember I passed the practical exam But had to take the written exam a 2nd time Looks like Jessie will be following in moms footsteps . Will keep you posted on what happens next .

I remember the morning of 9/11/01 like it was yesterday. I was on an airplane in the air when the first tower was hit. Luckily that week I was traveling/working in the Miami area and wasn’t headed to New York like I very well might have been. My family was in a panic because they all knew I was in airplanes almost every day of the week and some of them did not know my schedule that week. With Geo. Bush in Sarasota (south FL), Miami quickly began evacuating all the high rises. It was chaos and I was very frightened. My pilot got our plane on the ground just before the second tower was hit. I still get chills and teary eyed when I watch videos of that horrific morning. It’s still difficult to believe there is such evil in the world.
Thankyou dawn for this heartfelt memorial I would like to travel to ground zero one day and lay my own tribute.
When I first saw the attack on TV I thought it was a new Spielberg movie.
I am still horrified ten years later
THIS STILL LEAVES ME SPEECHLESS…..
Jessie, hang in there. Wishing you the best of luck next time.
Thank you for the video; I remember waking my children up to watch and being fearful for their future. Faith is the answer. One son is now in the Navy; to give back and protect what we have. Best luck to Jesse, it happens to all of us. Just keep swimming; as Dorie would say 😉
