Here are some photos of all the fun last night !

Update on my new Stampin Studio … Really no update  Everything is in it's place ( well sort of).

Computer area

I am kinda settled in BUT  still moving things around ya know "letting it all speak to me "  I absolutely LOVE my computer  in my crafting space . Both screens are on monitor arms  so I can move them  up and down  and also back and foward  and side to side

  • (LOVE it!)

1st stampin studio over 10 years ago

I have to share a photo of my very 1st space I had  over 10 years ago.  Pinch me  and make sure I am not dreaming . My new studio is just amazing and never in my  dreams would have thought it would be  like this .

I just want to say  I have the most amazing husband . He has put this awesome stamp room together for me .

He has done everything  putting the cabinets in / all the electical (those extra plugs that we stampers need / special computer hook ups/ lighting/ flooring and so much more he really is my muscle man~my Everything !

Never knew it was going to be this beautiful ( I mean we knew it was great but now that's it's all done WOWZIE! ) It's so much more than we both thought when we 1st started . I seriously could stay in there all day .

The space where I use to have everything set up (watch that video HERE )  is all empty now. We cleaned the carpets a few days ago  and now we are getting ready to paint over there .

The only room that will be purple ( lavender ) is the bathroom. It's going from yellow to lavender . Everythng else will be painted the same blue & green~which you will see those colors in the video above.

Thank you all for your  sweet comments  on my new space . I promise I will get a video  filmed  for you but until then I will be sharing photos.

This past Wednesday I went and seen my Surgeon  the same doctor that  did amazing work on my  femur back in February 2013 … To make a long story a short version  I am going to get my right hip (same leg) replaced on Sept 16th .

Hip

I  am bone on bone ~you can see there is no cartilage around my right hip (photo above). The left side  you see  dark space ( cartilage) around my hip  BUT not on my right.

Plus my hip is clicking (or what Dr Hubbers says it's Ratcheting)  . For the last couple months  I have been hearing clicking  from  what I thought  was my knee  come to find out  it's my hip and there is such a small area  of bone between my new Femur rod ( see photo below)  and my hip, that the clicking  noise  travels down my  bone  to my knee  and I hear it ( weird huh? )

My leg with hip x ray

Dr Hubbers says he has only seen 3-5 other people that this happened too . I am not sure  if the  clicking  is a bad thing but he did mention I should think about walking with a cane which will help  the bursitis too until I get my new hip, especially  if I am walking a lot . So for all those that see me at Convention this year you may be seeing me with a cane .

I  did asked him since it's the same leg as  my surgery last year if the fall last year had anything to do with my hip  being so bad ?  he said it  didn't help but it's more my RA.

Surgery  should only take 90 minutes  and he said  within 2-3 month I will  be back on the Harley :).

Want to hear something really odd  I seriously feel so great on the back of hubby's Harley my hip doesn't hurt one little bit… Hummmm maybe it's from all the vibrations :).

In the middle of  checking out my hip Dr. Hubbers says my leg he fixed is going GREAT!  Praise God!

Recovery is a lot faster then the knees and let's face it  I pretty much have the knees covered LOL! Even with my Femur and that was pretty major  I was up and driving after nearly 3 months  SO I am  very Optimistic with  the hip

  • The pessimist sees the difficulty in every opportunity; an optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty. – Winston Churchill

I  have always  told others that ask me about when  will they know it's time.. I always say you will know when the pain is to much to handle, day to day activities  are harder.

So over the next few months  I can be exercising my outer hip area with  leg lifts/ side lifts   Dr. Hubbers  swimming  or riding a bike  will help build  the muscle  and will help in my recovery as well .

 I appreicate your Prayers.

But hey there is still so much stamping to do  until then so let's not focus on all that . I will let you know when I will be going in the Hospital  for a few days  but until then I'm thinking Positive and I am so very Thankful.

Have a Fabulous Sunday friends !
