Happy Sunday friends !
WOW what a whirl wind July has been, Seriously it's been a crazy month .
1st my computer was down for what seemed like forever but really was 10 Loooongggg days . Got that back and I got it all hooked up the evening before I left to go to convention .
You should have seen me carrying that beast down 2 flights of stairs and I told my hubby (who was already riding his Harley out to SLC ) Boy I don't remember it being this heavy LOL! OH yeah that's because I never had to carry it .. my hubby did that ~ Go figure ! As a matter of fact I never had to h0ok up a computer either He always done that too . Guess I learn something new every day .
Then we went to convention for a week and while I flew out to Salt Lake City my Hubby rode his Harley out and we extended out stay out there to do some riding with our friends Jason and Sage ( in photo above ). And while I got back home this past Wednesday afternoon my hubby got home Friday evening and with that I feel like everything is all good again .
There is NO Hoka Hey event this year they skipped this year and will be back on for 2016 so the mini "Hoka Hey" ride to Salt Lake was a mere 1,600 miles out therein 24 hours and coming home was over 3,100 in (2) days ( yes he took the long way home to get the next Iron Butt milestone ).
While in Salt Lake City we headed to Stampin'Up! home office and the famous Stampin'Up! Rock in Riverton to get some photos there with the Harley .
We rode through the mountains and It was so amazing and we also made a stop in Provo Canyon and checked out this beautiful waterfall . If you look closely you will see people actually climbing up the waterfall .
Friday I went and had my TB test done and will be going back to my R.A doctor on Monday for results and then I will be starting a new medication for my R.A which will be Humira .
Thank you all who emailed me with your experience with this medication and just over all encouragement for me starting something new which is still kinda scary with any medication the side effects alone would make anyone think twice . I heard from some many of you to try icing the area 1st before the injection this will help in the stinging and also take medication out of frig for 30 minutes prior to injection helps as well . I will be doing both {hugs} .
I have also been busy getting things done for my Glitter Queen Retreat in 2 weeks ( Aug 13-15th) at my home . We have (4 ) glitter queens attending this year and we will be stamping like mad women for the whole weekend .
I have been making their pillow gifts well the packaging for their pillow gifts . designing Make & Takes / Shoe box swaps / Class topics / Share fair topics/ goody bags / and of course the fun limited supplies M&T .
I just got my August Thank you notes designed like 2 days ago and I love them . I really hope my customers love them as well .
My Thank you notes are really a passion of mine and yes I make ALL my thank you notes for every one of my amazing customers .
I remember when I first starting making my Thank you notes It was a little overwhelming at times since this is the (1) thing I do stamp every single day .
I asked Jessie ( our Daughter) if I should have an assistant make my Thank you notes for me and she said it so sweet
- " MOM You stamp for your job and why wouldn't you make them yourself since this is what YOU do ?"
Well duhhh I guess she had a point … I do love stamping and I do love my customers and designing a new Thank you note each month can be a challenge but it's a fun challenge and look forward to it each month .
I have no assistant BUT my hubby does help me with all the envelopes with postage stamps / labels and hand stamps the envelopes for me and this is what I call a awesome Assistant LOL!
But stamping all your thank you notes that's done by me .

Dawn I just wanted to tell you how much you inspire me as a new SU Demonstrator. My up line is Connie Stewart & she does nothing but praise how great a demonstrator you are. I also wanted to share that my day job is as an LPN for a Rheumatologist. I do education for him & the Humira company has recently informed us that you can take the Humira out of the refrigerator for up to 12 hrs before you give it & the closer it is to room temperature the less it stings. I’ll be praying for the medicine to be effective for your RA. My husband sees my doctor & he takes this medication & it has helped him alot. God bless & good luck.
