Great hints. I agree, holding for 5 seconds is critical. I never thought about just putting pressure on the stamp, not the area around it. Great!
thanks so much for this video, Dawn…you answered some question I’ve had about that pesky halo effect!
Great tips, thanks so much. Can always learn something that will help make us better.
Dawn,
I have been following your blog for years now and I have to say this is the most important one I have seen. I had no idea that I was getting the halo effect from either pressing in the wrong place or using the wrong sized block. My last purchase was a set called, I think “Watercolor Wings”. It is the first photopolymer set from SU! that I have purchased and so far I have had a hard time using it. Maybe it’s my StazOn ink. At any rate, I am now going to clean them all first and then I am going to either find some blocks that are better-sized for these or be sure and press right in the middle!
Thank you for this video. Again, it is the most useful one I have seen…and I’ve seen a lot!
Have fun on your trip!

I recently got into stamping with solid image stamps, and it’s been such a fun way to express my creativity. The bold designs add a unique touch to my projects. While exploring new hobbies, I also came across ways to make money with a drone at this website Balancing these interests has been exciting, and I can’t wait to see where both hobbies take me!
