Occasions catalog goodies in their new home

Hi Stampers,

 Happy Sunday friends !

Hope your Christmas was wonderful . We had an amazing Christmas .

I will share a couple things we  all got below .

I wanted to share with you my newly update desk space . You will notice all my Holiday catalog items are all put away .

This years Holiday catalog was so amazing it's sad that's it over…  well NOT officially over over not until January 4th….. So if you  are still  wanting to get  items from this Holiday catalog there is still time .

Plus don't forget the

  • Year end sale and Holiday retirement list until january 4th, 2016 Dawn GriffithHoliday retirement list HERE and also the
  •  Year End sale HERE   until January 4th as well.

I figured it is time to make the transition to the new Occasions catalog which will officially begin on January 5th, 2016

I am happy to report that many of you are  starting to receive their copies of the new catalogs ( Occasions  and Sale-a-Bration)  . I just wanted to let you know both catalogs will be delivered separately . It's not to late if you  want  to get a hard copy,  just email me your  name and address and I would be happy to send you both of  them .

Mural Dec 21, 2015 #1aI also wanted to share the update on my Mural . Oh my goodness it's looking  so AWESOME!

This upcoming week  Larry will be working on the tree in the corner  ( shown in above photo)

Rainbow tree

This tree  will be  like the ones we seen in Hawaii at the Dole Plantation.  I call them painted trees but they are actually  Rainbow trees aka Rainbow Eucalyptus Tree  you can see  more details HERE

These tree's are so amazing . Trust me when I say they are NOT painted . It's a natural process  the tree bark  does every year . I  love love love them . The most beautiful tree I have ever seen

Here are a couple photos we took  of them while we were in Hawaii, Larry  is painting this type  of tree  but our's will be in black, white and gray to represent this type of tree .

Tree at Dole #1

I of course love seeing the mural  come together every time he is here, but I think what I love most is talking with Larry and  seeing his vision and how he  does that. That's really what we do as stampers … but Larry is doing his vision on a much larger scale  than a greeting card like us . It really  is  amazing !

There will be a pop of color with a couple large flowers probably a hibiscus  flowers in RED  along the bottom  where the cliff/ mountain is at ( see photo above)

Oh and  true to Larry's  fine detail work like he does in tattooing  check out the  tiny motorcycle  in the mountain he  added . It's not  really an actual motorcycle just a representation  with a highlight and 2 tiny tiny dots for  wheels . SO awesome !

Here is what we were thinking  when we 1st started this process . I wanted  something that would be welcoming and  a way to say  you're entering into Dawn's Paradise ( Dawn's Stamping studio/ classroom) .

Hawaii kept coming up when talking with Larry in the beginning ( Mountains / trees/ water/ we really wanted black and white and gray  with pops of color etc…  and  it just transformed into this amazing mural story about  us and our journey..

This Christmas that 1 special gift we got is listed below .
