Hi Stampers,
Happy Sunday friends !
Well with the 1st week officially into the new year our bedroom is coming along nicely . Actually everything is done and we are currently waiting for our new bedroom set to be delivered, I am hoping that will be within the next couple weeks .
Here are a few updates on the room .
New Carpet got installed this past Tuesday ( see photo above).
Closet and bedroom doors cut down so they shut now. With the new carpet and 3/4" padding that made the doors really hard to shut, so that's done .
New Chandelier arrived on Wednesday. Hubby got that put up and it's Gorgeous (see photo above) . It's so beautiful with the lights on but I couldn't get a good photo of it with them on ( sorry).
We also had an old chest of drawers upstairs that hubby cut down to fit inside our walk in closest. This will be for all his work clothes . It seriously looks so much better with it cut down . Basically he made 4 drawers into 3 . He is so AMAZING!
I feel like it's a brand new bedroom even without the new furniture. It's so beautiful and feels so peaceful .
We have been so wrapped up into our new bedroom that our Christmas tree is still up LOL!
- How many of you still have your Christmas tree up ?
I think I will be taking it down this week ( hopefully).
This weekend I started purging all kinds of things in my stamp room . Nothing major just things like throwing out my Paper Pumpkin boxes ( Really why was I keeping those orange boxes anyway ?? IDK) .
I am organizing my Project Life cabinet ( it's not organized in the way your probably thinking just more available for me to get to ) which by the way I have started working on a album just about stuff that happens on a daily basis.
So far It's all about our new bedroom, I figure I will try and do a page for a certain day or week honestly It's not anything planned out. I'm just using the album as a journal but with photos ~ if that makes sense .
I have always thought of my blog as my personal journal but thought the PL Album will be more of a tangible way to express the exciting things and yes maybe a few personal things about me that happen over the upcoming year .

That light is BEAUTIFUL! Your hubby is so handy. Can’t wait to see the bedroom with the furniture in it. Looking forward to your updates.
Your chandelier & bedroom look SO NICE DAWN!!!! 😉 YES, we too still have our tree up. LOL I did get the decorations off of it today though. We’ll get it put up tomorrow COMPLETELY! (((HUGS!)))
P.S. I too LOOOOVE IT when my hubby can do things to make our home nicer! A man that can build & repair is worth more than he is EVER given credit for! 😉
Your bedroom is coming along nicely. It is going to be just gorgeous when it is done.
I have been sick with a cold/cough for the past week, so YES, our tree is still up – but I am still enjoying it every day. I hope to feel well enough to take it down in a few days.
I read your blog and enjoy it every day.
Love your “new” room! I wanted my tree up for the 12 days of Christmas and thought it would come down last weekend, but no — it’s still up! 🙂 I’ve taken the day off from work today to play grandma to my first grandchild born on Dec. 26. Before I do that some of my decorations will be put away, including some ornaments. We’ll see about the tree! All in good time!
