Rich is starting on the 2nd half of his full sleeve tattoo. Larry is drawing it up & I just hope they get it finished before we leave on incentive trip with Stampin'Up! in May.
Stampin'Up! is taking us on a Mediterranean Cruise this year ( Holy Moly )
We will be going to : Spain (Barcelona) / Italy ( Naples, Rome & Florence) / France ( Cannes & Marseille )
- We would love to hear from anyone about highlights to check out if you have ever been .
We are having a Spring like Friday here in Michigan. Today will be in mid 50's with some rain hopefully this rain will washed away the little bit of snow we still have .
I am just going to say it ~I am so Thankful for a mild winter this year ~ I know it's not officially over yet so anything can happen but in my mind I'm feeling like winter could be over …maybe not the cold temps but hopefully NO more snow .
Wednesday night we had our monthly mix and Mingle night out with our Harley chapter and I got asked to host a stamping event at our house for all the LOH ( Ladies of Harley) . We are thinking sometime in March but that's not set in stone yet just pretty excited to have them over to create and have a fun night .
This Wednesday we also got the last of our Roman shades we ordered from Blinds.com and WOW what a difference it makes in all the rooms we added them to. We needed to do a correction with the one we got for the kitchen so that was the last one we were waiting on . So thankful Blinds.com did the reorder we were allowed 1 redo without an extra fee .
I will hopefully get photos & share them with you this Sunday (Hopefully) .

Hello Dawn,
lucky girl, you’ll have a wonderful trip! I’m living in Germany and I’m following your blog since a few years.
On your trip I would recomend to see the houses of the artist Antonio Gaudi (he was an architect, who built some special houses and a fery famous Church “La Sagrada Familia” in Barcellona. In Rome there are many antique buildings and stuff to see. The Forum Romanum, the Kolosseum, the fountain of Trevi (throw a coin in it and you’ll come back). If you are standing in front of St. Peter in Rome, you should go through the colonades at right hand side in direction to the museums of vaticane (Via Sant’ Anna, before the corner), there will be an itty bitty icecream shop, but soooo tasty. They make all of their icecream from fresh fruits. There are not so many sorts of icecream, but the best I ever ate! The graves of former popes under the church are very impressive, too. Enjoy your trip!
Wow enjoy your trip Dawn – As a newbie SU demonstrator of only a month I can only dream lol! I’ve been to Rome twice – fabulous place. See as many of the sights as you can – make sure you get to see the Pantheon – the best place in Rome to sit and have a coffee and people watch.
Dawn this is a FANTASTIC idea! Love your layout and colors too. hugs
Dawn
That’s great news about the Cruise. Congratulations!!!! As a 1 year demonstrator I can only hope that someday I too can earn a SU incentive trip. I’d love to surprise my husband with one of these trips. I like all your projects & videos. You always sound so sweet & Connie Stewart my upline said I should go say hi last year but I’m shy & couldn’t work up the courage to do that last year. I’m hoping you’ll be going to Onstage in April so I can come say hi. I would love to get to meet you. I hope your Arthritis is doing better on your new medication. Thanks for sharing your creativity with us. Take care & God bless.

Dawn,
When in Naples you should go to Pompeii. It’s fascinating. By the itinerary it doesn’t appear that you have the option to tour the Amalfi coast but if you do you must!!! All those towns along that stretch of coastline are so charming and the ride is one you will never forget. And the food is delicious regardless of where you eat. My best advice is to wander and eat at a little cafe somewhere. My experience is that the large places that host tour groups cater to the preconceptions of the group so no truly authentic food served. The gal from Germany is correct about the architecture museum. Barcelona is famous for Gaudi’s buildings, the church the most noted. We were unable to tour while there as there was a nationwide strike that impacted us. Have a marvelous time! And a big Thank You for sharing your creativity with all of us.
Take a city tour in Barcelona (hop on hop off)! Great way to see a lot and stop if you feel like it. These tours usually take you to all the sights. Do NOT book a tour with the cruise company. It’s not necessary – and too expensive. The port is close to the city so you can easily do it on your own.
