Happy Friday friends !
Oh my what a week . I'm so sorry for my absence on Monday and Tuesday of this week .
Hubby crossed the Hoka Hey Finish line on Sunday July 3rd.
We ended up driving back home after crossed the finish line BUT 1st he wanted a shower .
We had a hotel for Saturday and check out was at 11:00 on Sunday but they let us extend until 12 for check out so he could get a shower .
We got home Sunday around 7:00pm . Hubby was so exhausted our thought was he only had Monday off from work for the holiday so getting home on Sunday was good for him to get a lot of rest before heading back to work on Tuesday .
The 4th of July was a great day .
Jessie and Tommy came over and we BBQ and opened our pool.
PLUS Jessie cut Dads' hair .
He had actually told me to bring my scissors to the finish line to cut all his hair off or he was going to shave it off .
Jessie said she would come over and cut it and tell him NOT to do anything .
Here is a photo of the before and after of his hair cut .
It looks amazing !
ICYMI here are the 2 videos I posted this week

What a wonderful accomplishment. Congratulations Rich on your ride, and love the cut.
It is awesome to see these pics, Dawn! I was mesmerized to keep checking up on his travels. I don’t know the specifics/route/goal… but I was really enthralled. TFS the ride, and for these pics. I don’t know how he drove for sooo many hours and stayed upright on that bike, I’d have been thoroughly tired. 🙂 I’m glad his passion is realized and that he enjoyed himself! The hair cut looks GREAT! Welcome Back; Best Wishes Always, TFS!
So very glad to see that your hubby made it home safe and sound. My hubby and I followed his journey each day to see where his travels took him and were in awe how someone could put on that much mileage especially on a bike. God bless. Dawn, you must be a nervous wreck all the while he is gone. Like the new hair style!!
So glad your hubby made it home safe. We were watching the journey multiple times a day. It was exciting to see how far he got each day. We were really excited to see he was only 20 minutes from our house one day. We were not expecting to see him that close to us! It would be interesting to see how many miles and how many different states he ended up in.
