 Happy Sunday friends ! 

As promised I  am going to share a bunch of  photos  from our Glitter Queens retreat  we has last weekend .

I'm a firm believer in that it's not always the "event " that makes it  so amazing but it's all the people  that  attend that make it so Awesome  and our Glitter Queens event is  that kind of event .

I call it my SOUL filling fun ! I know it sounds like a cliche' but  you really have to be here to experience this event .

Since my home can sleep comfortably (6) I limit  this yearly  event to 6  this keeps the costs down for my ladies  who are driving in  from all over and not having to pay for a hotel . ( I must admit though I am thinking one day it may be  HUGE  and a Hotel is  the only place that could possibly hold all  of us in the future ).

I know there  is always  a part of the event  each year that happens no matter what  after that it changes every year ..

One of those must do things  at the event we have a shoe box swap  that we all make each other swap  and then I  film each glitter queen making their shoe box swap on video . This video is shared  then with our whole team  so everyone feels a part of the event  even if they couldn't come . 

The videos  are such a highlight for me personally  because  I see the improvement  every year  and trust me everyone is so nervous making their video  doesn't matter if it's the 1st time/ 3rd time or 100th time  definitely everyone  feels out of their comfort zone but that's okay we are all in this together .

• Let me just say they all rocked the house this year.

This  also hopes them see how I film my videos.  Even though this year we didn't have time to edit a video while everyone was here, I try and show them  what I do  on the editing process as well in past years . This year we added 2 more GQ to our retreat ~~~~ if ONLY we had 1 more day ( I felt like this  the whole weekend ).

Every year I try and have at least 1 group project  but this year I had (3)  and even though I will not be making  public videos  on those 3 projects I will be making (2) of those videos  ONLY  for my FSM Club members for September .

We all  decided we need an extra day ( Thursday )  to add to our retreat  since  all the pillow gifts we each received , we all decided we want to have each GQ demo her pillow gift so we can all make it …..so adding  the extra day is still in the works for next year  PLUS I believe all (6) ladies are coming back  for 2017 ( God willing ).

Back to the 1st part of my blog post saying  it's the people that make an event so amazing  these ladies  are all so awesome and trust me you would think there would be so much "DRAMA"  with 7 women under 1 roof  ~  NO drama going on.

Each woman is so strong and we all got to share  a little  more of our life which makes the connection so much more deeper  and the trust hummm lets just say what happens at  our retreat stays  under wraps ( well  except the fun )  .

I am so thankful for Stampin'Up!  I have always said  Stampin' Up! brought us together but it's the friendships  that make is  so much more sweeter. 

What is so awesome too is  the ladies include my hubby with pillow gifts . Funny story  about the photo above . Kris had gave me a pillow gift  which is  what my hubby is holding and  we all laughed because as you can see they are Boxer shorts with Pickles …

OH my goodness the  laughs we all got from those . I  have received so many awesome "pickle" items over the years  because everyone knows I love purple and  I love pickles .

Over the years I have received Pickle

• Mints
• Toothpaste
• Band aids
• ice cub tray 
• Christmas ornament 
• chips
• peanuts
• candy canes  

the list goes on …

BUT never  ever seen Pickle boxer shorts and of course I know why Kris gave them to me for her pillow pillow ( Love them Kris )  and you all know why I passed them on to my hubby LOL! 

This year for our 1st night together we had each of the glitter queen take the photo of all of us holding her pillow gift she gave us . ( What a brilliant idea  I can't remember who thought of that )

so below are all the pillow gifts we all got Friday night  before all the stamping  started. Plus I added the photo of  each GQ with me with  the frame I put together last minute so you will know  their face  with their name .

This pillow gift is from Stacey Etched mugs with A7W root beer inside  with a sweet goodie bag even had root beer hard candy  ( below)

This pillow gift is from Dee made us a really adorable note cards  with a sweet holder (below)

This pillow gift is from Kathie a super cute tea light holder made with the Floral Framelits ( below)

This pillow gift is from Davette hand made  beautiful goody bags  filled with lots of candy (below)

This pillow gift is from Kris ( Scarf  in a super cute box she made) remember I got the pickle boxers too (below )

The flowers we made as a group project and since we all made 1 each I  thought it would be fun to hang them up for our backdrop behind our frame photos  . Pretty fancy huh?

After a full day Saturday  of making videos / making everyone shoe box swap/ 3 rd group project  then we headed to dinner at Detroit  Burger bar  ( amazing ).

Stacey had to slip out to a wedding  for a couple hours when we headed to dinner  she was at the wedding  so  we still  needed her to film her video. I told her we  should have made a Flat Stacey LOL!  Hopefully you all know what that is … It's Stacey's photo on a stick  and everywhere we went Stacey went with us LOL! 

Davette got her yearly Harley ride with my hubby.

 For the record Davette is the ONLY other woman that gets to ride with my man (besides my mom and Jessie of course).

We also got to video her on FB live  for a couple minutes.  Such a fun time !

 Leaving  dinner  Davette and Hubby switched riding places on the Harley ( Hilarious !) 

We all came back  got in our jammies and  everyone wanted to make a super over the top card  ( I will be  posting that video later this week ) some of us ate ice cream …

OH and lets not forget the  fun we had with the funny face coasters

The top bag has the goodies everyone needed to make our Group project for Saturday and the  yellow bags for Saturday nights pillow gift….  well lets just say  my Glitter Queens all know what's inside those bags LOL! 

Then Sunday was here in a blink of an eye .

Seriously  our weekend together goes by so fast .

I had to take a photo of  everything the Glitter Queens brought . Pretty amazing  we never tripped over anything  the whole weekend LOL! 

I try and give my Glitter Queens a going home gift usually a goodie bag  with  all kinds of things like

Stampin' Dimensionals / Glue / of course Dazzling Diamonds  stuff like that .

We are already  getting excited about next year .
