Hi Stampers,
Happy Sunday friends !
WOW what a busy last couple of months . I love summer time which I think is always the busiest time of year for everyone .
The last couple months seemed extra busy and I think it was just my down time that may have set me back a few days with the latest boo boo on my leg but this weekend I think ( knock on wood) everything seems back on track .
Last weekend was the Stamp-a-palooza event with my Glitter Queen Dee and her team .
We got together at Davette's the night before Stamp-a-Palooza with Dee's team to chat and of course create .
Such an awesome time .
OH in case you missed it in the photo below LOL! ~ check out Davette's craft room OMG!! pretty amazing !
What an awesome Stamp-a-Palooza it was .
I shared a couple photos on my FB page and so many said they want to come next year so I am sending out a Save the Date for next year .
- Plan on the the last Saturday of September 2017.
Of course I add the info to my monthly newsletter closer to the time PLUS Dee has a early bird registration ( at least she has in the past ) but all those details are shared in my newsletter so be sure to sign up for that HERE
It's an awesome day of creating and hanging out with fellow stampers .
OMG! Look what Barbara brought for me….
YUMMY~ Dill Pickle Cashews . Yes they are yummy .
After my presentation Dee and Linda presented me with this amazing gift .
Look it's the motorcycle from my Million Dollar stamp set One Wild Ride pulling the sleigh from the Santa's Sleigh stamp set and Thinlits Bundle #143499 .
OH MY GOODNESS it's so beautiful and look at all the sparkles . Thank you so much I love it and it will always have special place in my studio .

Last night was my local stamp club .
I had a request for Halloween Themed projects and that we make 3-d projects… so I ended up having (3) projects.
(1 ) a little more involved and the other (2) were slightly quicker and easier but all 3 projects are super cute and yes I will be sharing the projects via videos over the next couple weeks.
We missed you
- Gina
- Carol
- Patty
- Harriet
- Annie
I'm not sure if any of you are on the Pumpkin Spice bandwagon…
I know for me I love it but, I love it all year long not just at fall time.
I even have a candle wax warmer in my studio so it always smells so yummy when crafting . Hey I think that should always be a staple in crafting just like Music should be on and Chocolate should be somewhere near by and your favorite beverage …
Don't you think those are the top (4) things every craft room should have ?
- well beside of course the obvious ( stamps/ ink / card stock etc…)
My leg HERE is healing well and I had my stitches taken out right before leaving for the Stamp-a-Palooza event and I forgot to mention My Hubby took the staples out .
Now don't judge me but we even used my Paper Snips #103579 to remove the stitches Yes I sterilized them and Hubby sterilized them twice ( can't be to careful).
They worked AWESOME ! Those fine tip points seriously rock for removing stitches and apparently I wasn't the only one to think to use my Paper Snips to remove stitches… at Stamp-a-Palooza event Summer said she used hers to remove the stitches from her son, and you thought I was the only one that thought outside the box for stitch removal LOL!
I couldn't actually see the back of my leg so I was quite surprise that the stitches were bright blue ….Hummmm interesting I wonder if they could have gave me purple stitches . I just always thought stitches were in Black~ go figure .
Here is my Sunday Share video I seen it come across on FB~ Love it !
This video reminds me of Jessie and our Bowzer years ago .
Jessie use to play hide and seek with him. I thought this video is so funny and
brought back many memories of our Jessie and Bowzer .
Speaking of Jessie every once in a while I get emails asking about how she is doing .
She is still cutting hair just not in a salon. She is still licensed as a cosmetologist but she is working at Huntington Bank as a personal Banker now . Jessie actually called me this past Friday asking if we could meet for lunch since she was in the area for job training ( personal loans ) and of course YES.
Jessie took this photo of her & I and I also snagged this other photo from her FB page ( she is so beautiful .. I know I know she is my daughter but I still think she is the most beautiful girl ever .
Have a fabulous Sunday friends !
Thanks for peeking in
Until later… Happy Stampin!
So glad your leg is on the mend. I love Dill Pickle, I love Cashews but, oh dear I’ve never heard of them together. They sound a match made in heaven, yum-yum. I must look on the internet for them. Lucky girl – nuts and a wonderful gift. I did a little squeak when I saw what was pulling the sleigh. I must try something similar for my hubby’s Christmas card. He is a biker and it would put a smile on his face. You take good care.
Happ to hear your stitches are out. As for Jessie being beautiful…….well, the fruit doesn’t fall far from the tree.
Dawn your Sunday share was extra special this week for many, many reasons but most of all the update on Jessie and the gorgeous picture of the two of you! I have a daughter around Jessie’s age and she is an only child as well. I absolutely love her inside and out. She has outer beauty but most of all she has a beautiful soul. I’m so blessed that God chose me to be her Mama. She teaches 4th, 5th and 6th graders who have special needs of various types. The kids just adore her because they know she really and truly cares about each one and wants them to succeed! I’m so proud of her! Thanks again for updating us on what’s going on in Jessie’s life these days. Hope you have a wonderful week ?
