Hi Stampers,
Today we will be making this adorable Christmas box that holds (4) note cards and (4) handmade envelopes .
I got the idea for this adorable box from Dee Slater at her Stamp-a-Palooza event Plus she had made one for all of us at our Glitter Queens retreat back in August
I figured out how to make the matching envelopes using the Envelope Punch Board # 133774.
The actual size we will be using for the note cards is listed as the
3″ x 4″ size BUT instead of scoring at 2 5/8″ we will score at 2 3/8″
- This will make the size perfect to fit inside the Christmas box .
We made this project at my stamp club this past Saturday but didn’t have enough for everyone to make (4) envelopes but it turned out I did have enough for them all to make at least (1) envelope .
Here is the most awesome part .
You only need (2) pieces of card stock to create the
box and (4) note cards .
- I used Whisper White # 100730
I will also be using (1) piece of Early Espresso card stock#119686
cut at 4″ x 11″ for the layer on the note cards .
Then it’s just a matter of decorating the box and note cards which I will be using the
Candy Cane Lane designer paper #141981
- cut at 2 7/8″ x 4 1/8″ ( box )
- cut at 2 1/4″ x 2 7/8″ ( box )
- cut (4) at 2 1/4″ x 3 3/4″ ( note cards)
The stamp set is called Wrapped in Warmth

Dawn I love this box and cards. It is different from other card boxes I’ve seen/and or made which makes it nice. I like the shape of the note cards and envelopes too. Once again this is a great year round project depending on the DP used. It would be nice to also make refill note cards for the box to give to the recipient when they run out of the first set.
