Happy Sunday friends !
WOW what a week it’s been .
Today my hubby is coming home from his adventure this weekend
My man and (9) others headed out on their Harley’s for the Annual Moonshine run .
This isn’t an actual “MOONSHINE” run
and it’s nothing about “Moonshine ”
that we all think of but rather
Moonshine IL. which has a population of 2.
Yes (2) people live in Moonshine IL.
They hold a Cheeseburger fundraiser & riders come from all over
to gather and kick off the riding season .
We all laugh that they ride over 400 miles / ride close 7 hours ( from Michigan )
to get a cheeseburger .
Must be one AWESOME Cheeseburger right ?
Well the burger is tasty but it’s the fellowship all the riders have with one another ,
Rich meets a bunch of his Hoka Hey friends and share those riding stories .
and let’s face it, it’s just another excuse get on that 1st ride of the year.
This year Rich invited our HOG chapter riders to head out on this adventure .
and a total of (10) guys headed out .
(7) of which met at our home at 3:30 and kickstands were up at 4 am.
Plus I would like to add these was no snow this year
BUT it was 31 degrees but felt colder on the bike .
Praise God for Heated Gear!
I can honestly say I have never had this much leather in my kitchen LOL!
Normally it’s a 1 day ride when Rich and Glenn did it the past few years
( leaving around 3 AM and come back the same day )….
but they decided to stay the night and head home today .
Rich and Glenn are staying at a campgrounds and the others are staying at a hotel .
If I went, you all know where I would be right ? LOL!

If you look really close to the photo of the field you can see the long road in all lined with bikes .
Isn’t that amazing.

This Week we had a lot of sad news from our Glitter Queens team .
Mary Jayne’s Husband passed away Wednesday April 5th
Dee Slater’s Mother in Law passed away Friday April 7th.
Our Thoughts and Prayers are with all of you and your families .

The Retirement list is posting tomorrow
Monday April 10th

I went to Moonshine IL last year with some of our HOG group! Was a fun ride, but we did it in July, hot…. Sadly, we have to sell our Trike, because of my husband’s health issues.
This looks like a lot of fun. My husband and I once were members of the Michigan Dressers. I wish we would of heard of this. It would have been a fun trip for the club.
Love the smell of leather and coffee at 4:00 in the morning!
