Hi Stampers,
Today we will be doing a really fun technique using Ink refills
and making beautiful background’s with our
new Glossy card stock # 144240
There so many fun techniques we can make with the Glossy card stock.
Today is just ( 1 ) of many techniques I will be sharing with you in the future .
I will have all the supplies listed below
you will need at least (2) ink refills . I like the lighter shades shown above
but darker ink refills will be more stunning for the Granite look with Basic Back and Early Espresso
I recommend trying all kinds of color combos and finding what you like the best .
There is NO mistakes in any color combo you chose.
I also prefer the fine outlined stamps
when stamping over the background only because love the look of the polished stone showing
through the fine outline stamped image .
again it’s just a preference.
I wanted to show you a few different color combos as well as a
few different stamps to help show you anything really does
work beautifully with this fun technique .
Most of all have fun experimenting.

Merci Dawn pour les informations. J’ai hâte d’essayé sur le papier glossy, je ne savais pas qu’on pouvait travailler avec ses papiers. Bonne journée
Very neat technique!! I love it!
I love this, and certainly give it a try.
So glad you got the glossy card stock pack.
Love this Polish Stone technique. The bling makes the card pop. TFS
Love the look, I will have to give this a try … TFS
Dawn, such a beautiful technique. Looks like you used a black ink on the glossy paper for the sayings and some other stamping, what was the ink color?
Absolutely Beautiful!!! I love this. I will be using this technique in my July cards. Beautiful, Beautiful, Beautiful is all I can say. I love every card you made and will be getting a few of those stamps sets soon!!!!! Great work again!!! Sure wish you lived closer to me!!!
Hi Dawn! Love this tutorial and video. I really want to try this technique soon. I really love the Heartlands version. What is the color combo you used for that one? Is it the same as the Country Livin’? Couldn’t tell from the video and it was the only one you didn’t give colors on. Thanks for the wonderful inspiration you share with those of us without the creative design gene! 🙂
You are so stink’in cute!
Love these backgrounds! Glad you said the paper had to be glossy. I am guessing it would not work with regular paper.
Dawn, I love these cards. They are so Beautiful! How do you know what color reinkers to use together? Please share.
Hi Dawn, beautiful, can’t wait to try!! One question, what kind of ink do you use on the glossy paper, can you use any of the inks or does it have to be stazon or what. thanks for your inspiration, you are the best!!
Dawn, I just made 4 cards with the polished stones technique. And I love them. So happy SU brought the glossy paper back. Thank you for showing us how to use it.
..
I love ALL your videos. You make everything look so easy that I want to try all these different techniques. Some aren”t as easy as you make them look…it’s probably just me! Good luck this Sunday and have fun in Thailand. You deserve it….you’re just FABULOUS
This is a neat technique. I will have to give it a try.
