So excited you’re here today.
Guess what ?
We have a Blog Hop happening today with my
Glitter Queens team .
My Glitter Queens are across the USA
On the 1st Friday of each month we have a themed Blog Hop
where you get to click the links posted below
& visit my Glitter Queens who are taking part of our monthly blog hop
Pretty exciting huh?
You all know I am kinda gaga over sponging
especially around the Halloween season,
so I couldn’t pass up another opportunity to have some more fun sponging .
Today’s card is over the top and so awesome in real life .
I based the card design off my
Pop Out swing card video
I posted a few years ago
( check out the video below) .
I have recently done a few videos already with sponging
and the new Holiday catalog goodies
you can check out those videos below as well . .
*Graveyard Gate Card HERE
* Sunset Beach card HERE
even though the sunset beach card is not Halloween
it will show you exactly how
I sponged today’s card
I used the same color’s & same sponging technique .
For the front of my card I stamped the
“Open if you Dare “
with the Pumpkin Pie classic ink #126945
and then highlighted the DARE with the
Wink of Stella #141897
(which you can see the shimmer in the above photo )
I also got to use the
Hometown Greetings Edgelits # 144671
Even though this is a “Christmas Themed” bundle
in the Holiday catalog on page 39
Just by cutting the images out in
Basic Black card stock # 121045
it changed the whole theme design of the Edgelits
don’t you think ?
Double bang for your buck right ? …..
I love that !
All products used are listed below :
For our Glitter Queens Blog hop we are making
(2) projects with the Halloween theme
so here is my 2nd project I have for you .
SURPRISE
I’ve done even more Sponging ….
This time with the Sponge Brayer #141714
I took the beautiful
Merry Little Christmas designer paper# 144621
I colored the black and white side of this amazing designer paper
and totally changed the whole concept to a Halloween theme
just by coloring the white with Pumpkin pie classic ink # 105117
another tip for getting a double bang for your buck right ?
This designer paper is gorgeous but to add any color to the Black & White side
really up’s the versatility to so many other projects
no matter the theme .
I also have all the products listed below
on this super cute Trick or Treat card .
Thanks for peeking in today .
