Hi Stampers,
Happy Monday friends !
Time for our Card Sketch #18
You can check out all the card sketches HERE
Here is my twist on today’s sketch .
I used the Tutti Frutti designer paper .
There are tiny details that I think make this card even sweeter
maybe you don’t notice them right away
but once I let you know they will LOL!
I colored the Daffodils with
Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends combo pack # 144603
Plus the Pumpkin pie Stampin’ Blends #144599
to the center of the flowers.
The subtle part is the added Smoky Slate light # 145054
outline of the flowers with the Smoky Slate really make them all pop…
don’t you think so ?
I love love love this card !
You may have to actually click on the photo to enlarge your viewing
like I said it’s very subtle .
I also added the
Glitter & Clear Epoxy shapes #145632
to the back ground.
Did you even see those on my card when you 1st seen it ?
The Peekaboo Peach designer paper is from the
Tutti Frutti designer paper #145606.
I think it really looks amazing with the stripes.
The Beautiful Friend is from the
Beautiful Peacock stamp set # 147239
from Sale-a-Bration this year .
I then punched the Smoky Slate out with the brand new
1 1/8″scallop circle punch #146138
You have seen the brand new scallop punches in the Occasions catalog right ?
both 1 1/8″ & 1 3/8″scallop punches
are shown on page 17 top of page .
Have fun with this weeks card sketch ~
It’s probably one of my top favorites so far .
Thanks for peeking in today.
Beautiful, Dawn. And, the added touches add pop to it! Another great sketch. Happy Monday.
Love the card Dawn you do great work love your cards. I see them and want to make them. So thank u so much don’t know how you come up with all these great ideas. But keep them coming.
For got to tell you i did see the glitter & clear epoxy shapes before you mention them.
Dawn, I love this card! I am finally buying some of the Stampin’ Blends, even tho I’m not much of a “colorer.” We’ll see! A question I’ve been meaning to ask for a long time: Why in the world does Stampin’ Up label their punches upside down?! I have a lot of punches, and it looks so odd to have them in a shelving unit; you can tell the shape, but you can’t read the size. They keep doing it, so there must be a reason; do you know what it is?
Dawn another great sketch design from yourself. I have recorded the sketch and will have a go at this myself, thank you for the inspiration. :O)
Love the bright cheerful colors of the card and how you used gray as a backdrop for the various elements!
