Happy Wednesday friends!
Today we are making the large Easter basket .
You may remember the small Easter basket
we made last week HERE
Today we will be making a much bigger basket
and of course this one holds LOTS of candy .
You will need a 12″ x 12″piece of card stock.
I’m using Lemon Lime Twist card stock from the
2017/19 In Color Assorted pack of 12″x 12″
# 145453
Plus (6) Strips of designer paper
cut at 1″ x 11″
scored at 3 1/2″ & 7 1/2″
for the Handle cut one at 1″ x 11″
I am using the
Fresh Florals designer paper # 144131
I will be adding a extra piece of
Lemon Lime Twist card stock # 144245
for my handle since its a
larger basket I was to reinforce the handle
with the Designer Paper and Card stock .
I will be doing a couple things totally different from the small version.
Hope this helps or at least show you another way to make this
sweet Easter Basket large or small version.

So glad you did the larger basket. Can’t wait to make it, like right now!!! LOL
YAY, love the bigger basket too. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for showing the larger basket and the how to’s. Will be watching the video.
Darling. Thanks for sharing the larger basket and tips.
Thanks for sharing with us how to make the 2 basket sizes. Cute idea for sharing a few treats with someone. Perhaps you only did it in your video because you were hurrying, but it would be safer to turn your stapler around so the little pokey ends are then covered by the outside flap. Fingers aren’t as apt to catch on the flat staple piece on the inside when pulling out their yummy treat 🙂
Hi Dawn!
What a huge difference in size between these baskets! This one is just as pretty as the smaller one. Now THIS one is big enough that my 30-something daughter wouldn’t complain about not getting enough Easter candy. Lol. Thanks for sharing! I better get started making this.
Just made a “middle size” Easter Basket using 21 cm square card stock (21cm is the width of A4 card). Worked very well – scored at 1.5, 7, 14, and 19.5 cm. Strips cut 18 x 1.8 cm and scored at 5.5 and 12.5 cm. Handle is 21 x 2.5 cm. It holds about 20 small Easter eggs and looks great. Thanks for the idea Dawn
Now this is the Easter basket for me! A large one, which holds LOADS of sweets and chocolates. These 3D Easter projects Dawn are great, thank you. :O)
Love the large Easter basket that you made. Have made many! I know I’ve seen the medium size also. I cant not find the measurements for that one. Could you please send me the measurements, please.
Thanks, Paula
P.S. The slatted basket!
