Happy Memorial Day Friends !
It’s Monday & time for the new weekly Card Sketch .
I can’t believe we are already on #30 .
I have a slight change to my card sketches .
I will no longer be posting the base card measurements .
This frees up more space when I’m writing all the other measurements of the other layers
that I think are the most important part of the card sketch anyway .
Typically my card bases are
5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″
BUT you can also cut them at
4 1/4″ x 11″ scored at 5 1/2″
it’s totally up to you .
Okay back to this weeks card sketch ….
I thought this sketch was perfect for me to use the
new Graceful Glass Designer Vellum # 146344
from the new catalog on my sample.
I also got to use the new Stained Glass Thinlits # 146347
Which I cut the long piece in half and layered that behind the Graceful Glass vellum
I also used the Flirty Flamingo card stock#
Lemon Lime Twist card stock #
I also colored the vellum with the same color markers

(In Color 2016/18 collection Stampin’ Write Markers )
Lemon Lime Twist #144033
In color 2017/19 collection Stampin’ Write markers.
I also used the new stamp sets for the greetings
Varied Vases stamp set #146644
and also the new Host stamp set called
Hand Delivered # 146808
(I really love the fonts in both of these sets)
I embossed the Flirty Flamingo piece with the
Petal Burst embossing folder # 141493
The Lemon Lime Twist with the
Layered Leaves Dynamic Textured embossing folder # 143704

The card is beautiful! Love the sketch. I need to get going with the sketches and catch up making them in black, white, and gray so I have samples with measurements. I’ve got 1-18 done, so I’ve got a ways to go.
Hope you have a wonderful Memorial Day. The weather is great here in Michigan, so it’s perfect for riding the motorcycles.
