Hi Stampers,
Happy Friday friends !
Today we are making the awesome Tunnel card and I will also show you how
I did the masking technique on this card .
You will need (2) pieces of card stock
cut at 5 1/2″x 8 1/2″.
I will be using Whisper White for both of my pieces
ONLY because
I have almost ran out of the
Share What you Love designer paper#146926

that I used for my sample ( shown on today blog post) .
I used Early Espresso card stock #119686
for the strips along the sides.
I also have all the Stampin’ Blends I used on
my animals listed below.
I will also be using the
Animal Outing stamp set
(w)#146597
(c)# 146600
This stamp set is also available in a
bundle and save 10%
For the Greeting on the front I used the
Rooted in Nature stamp set
(w)#146479
(c)# 146482
also available in a bundle and save 10%
also grab a pencil and a few post-it notes
for the stamping/masking part of this
adorable interactive card.

Ooh aah, what a cute FUN card, Dawn! Thanks so much for showing how to do the tunnel card. Definitely will have to try my hand with this interactive card. I can think of several people who would enjoy receiving one. Have a nice weekend and I will be praying for hubby as he takes his ride!
Hugsssssss, Jesse
Hi Dawn!
I l0ve this stamp set bundle and can’t wait to order it. I love how you made the tunnel card and how you showed at the end of the video how you off-set the two pieces of blue card stock.
A couple of tips…
1. Post-It makes ‘full coverage’ Post-It notes! I’ve seen them in yellow only but you can buy them at Office Max. You could probably order them on Amazon too. They are great for providing adhesive for the full note except for a tiny strip at the bottom which allows you to pull up the note once you are done stamping. This way you don’t have to use additional adhesive.
2. When I get a stamp/die bundle, I have magnetic radiator covers that I buy from Lowe’s – you could also probably order them from Amazon. There are 4 or 5 sheets of 8″ x 15″ covers in a package and cost only around $5.50 per package! I cut each sheet into 4 7/8″ x 6 &/8″, which gives me two of these size sheets plus a small strip left over from each sheet. I use one side of my stamp case for the images and attach the magnetic sheet to the other side with two strips of wide, strong adhesive. Then I put the dies on that side. It allows you to store the bundle together and you don’t have to search for the dies or take up extra storage room! I save the small strips to put random very small dies into a CD case for storage.
Hope these tips help any of your blog readers! 😀
Hi Dawn, Super cute card! Those little animals are so charming, and the tunnel card is adorable. Thanks for a great tutorial!
Dawn,
I’d like to thank you for many years of inspiration. A few years ago when I lost my mojo, I turned to you for a jump start. Your wonderful videos did the trick, so much so, that I signed up as a demo. I read your blog every day and you, more than anyone, provide me with good ideas to use in my card classes. Many, many thanks for sharing so much of your talent and time.
Dawn,
You come up with so many creative ideas and projects! And the wonderful thing is that you share the techniques for making them. I just love your site. Originally, l didn’t think l needed this stamp set because l had no little kids around, but the figures would also cute for adults! I need it!
Such a cute card and stamp set. Love animal stamps, they are so darling. I think that would make a great card for anyone.
This is simply so CUTE!!!!!!!! I can’t wait to get my bundle so I can make this card.
Dawn I definitely get ‘two for the price of one’ here because I love critters and I love ‘fun folds’. Thank you so much for this demonstration I absolutely adore it, from the masking to the finishing touches. :O)
Hi Dawn. Love this card and can’t wait to try it. Did you do anthing on the back of the card? The Blends tend to bleed through the card stock when coloring. Just wondering if you put a panel on the back or have a tip to avoid the bleed through.
Thank you so much for the refresher on masking. Love, love, love both cards. Now if I could only color as well as you do. 🙂
