Hi Stampers,
Happy Sunday friends!
I can’t believe this but, yesterday was our Jessie’s 26th Birthday .

I am shocked she is 26 already boy time flies .
We celebrated all our birthday’s last weekend .
Jessie was definitely celebrated again by us .
Yesterday we all kicked off Toys for Tots at our Harley Davidson dealer.

Today we will be at it again at our HD dealer collecting money and toys for the Toys for Tots.
Here are some photos from our time yesterday we will be collecting money
walking in the streets between 8 am -4 pm today on Pontiac Lake and M-59.

ABC Harley Davidson will be open from 11am -3 pm today.
We have santa photo’s Ornament making tables and also gift wrapping for
those purchasing any Christmas gifts at ABC Harley .

We are stacking all the toys in the corner of the dealership and it’s truly a sight to see.
We are building the mount of toys we are purchasing and collecting since yesterday.

I also wanted to share all of you,
my computer that I had for at least 10 years died on Thursday .
Hubby and I got a new computer Friday evening and I will be learning a lot of new stuff on this one .
On my goodness I’m not sure if any of you have purchased a computer lately
but nothing comes on them any longer.
NO office / No Photoshop/ No video editing program …. all kinds of things I had on my old computer they are all coasting extra .
PLUS I had Windows Movie Maker 7 which is why I was babying that computer,
mainly for that program ( My most favorite for editing my videos ).
Needless to say I will be branching out from under my rock and finding a
new program please be praying for me I’m already stressed out from having to get a new computer and
I know there really isn’t a perfect time for one to die but everything
I do for my blog / videos / emails / thank you notes is all done on my computer .
I am thankful I had everything backed up on my external hard drive
PLUS with my Carbonite ( Love love love them ) .
With Windows 10 being so different from Window 7
I would just really appreciate all your prayers .
I am running a tad behind on getting everyones Thanks you notes sent out
even a couple days without a computer put me behind ( I’m so sorry )
Plus my Demo labeler machine needs to be added to my ew computer and
I will be calling them on Monday.
Thank you all for your patience .
Have a wonderful Sunday .
I do have my card sketch ready for you tomorrow.
Thank goodness that was done last week . 🙂

What a wonderful thing you are doing with Toys for Tots. A new computer can be a scary thing, but I’m sure you’ll love it once you’ve figured it out. My prayers are with you.
Happy December, Happy Sunday, Dawn. What a great project, Toys for Tots. Praying for you, learning the new computer…it it be fun and not frustrating. Glad you were able to share the pictures today. Looking forward to seeing the next sketch tomorrow.
Beautiful photos, Dawn! You really embrace the spirit of the season. Good luck with your new computer…it will seem like an old friend in no time!
Oh, my. I had to get a new PC recently too, and went from Windows 7 to 10. Not only is there nothing on them, but even the file saving structure is different. And, so many things I had won’t work any longer, and some things do not have a newer version to add. It’s certainly a learning experience.
Your pictures are great, and thank you for doing such a great charity drive for the children. Looking forward to tomorrow’s project.
What you’re doing is totally great. As for your computer that’s not that great. But be sure things will be back to normal soon… That’s what we all have to experience in times of such machines, don’t we?
Thinking of you and
love from Germany
Evelyn
I know exactly what you’re going through. Just replaced my windows 7 with 10. You definitely are in my prayers. I am computer illiterate.
That’s wonderful, seeing all the toys and money for families in need. God Bless you all.
Dawn you are right, nothing comes on computers now. You have to buy everything separate. I guess that’s a way for them to make more money on sales. Mine doesn’t even come with Word 🙁
Hope everything goes smoothly for you.
Oh, also I upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10. I do miss Windows 7 though, you’ll get used to it. I remember having a few different systems. Technology evolves to quickly.
I’m still hanging on to Windows 7, too! Scared to move to Windows 10. I hope it all goes well for you. Don’t get stressed because everyone understands. We’ll all be here waiting for you when you’re up and running again.
Thank you for your contribution to Toys for Tots!
Such a nice thing to do Dawn. Bravo. Me, I’m a reader and am donating books being collected at our libraries to be given away in hampers.
Happy Birthday to your daughter. I’m sure you hear it all the time, but boy does she look like you.
Hi Dawn! Happy Birthday to Jessie! They grow so fast don’t they? As for your computer, we switched to Apple Mac Book Pro’s some time ago and you really don’t feel the difference in changes like you do with a PC. However, I bought a new Mac when mine finally gave out and you’re right…nothing is included anymore. Mine costs extra for a CD player!
Anyway, thanks for Toys for Tots toy drive. Your group is really stacking the toys up!!!
You and Richard rock with your generosity. I know all the lucky children receiving those gifts will love them!! Happy birthday Jessie.
