For this weeks Card Sketch # 226 idea

I wanted to use the retiring Pierced Blooms dies # 154312.

These dies have always been a favorite of mine .

Actually I love the stamp set too but, the dies are gorgeous for making beautiful flowers .

My weekly sketches are always fun and full of great ideas .

For my twist on the sketch I wanted to keep it a simple card but also a really cute card for any female family member .

Especially for Easter and or Mother’s Day or any special occasions that are approaching.

A special handmade card with basic supplies plus with a simple layout

makes this card pop, plus with the shades of purple and black and white equals a WOW!

The Pierced Blooms dies are a great way to add a punch of color

and the sketch design is a perfect way to make a bunch of unique cards.

I added  a few Brass Butterflies

Pick a color that’s her favorite and design all the flowers to match her special day .

I love the piercing around all the flower petals but the best part is layering the flowers together and

popping them up with Stampin’ Dimensionals # 104430.

Designing the front of the card with at least three flowers to give balance,

don’t forget the inside , I added one single flower to tie the front to the inside & stamp a special greeting

will make this card and add a personal touch ( photo posted below)

plus it will be lots of fun to make .

This greeting “Best Day Ever” I used today is from the In Symmetry Stamp Set which has retired this year

and is no longer available but, a greeting like this one shown on today’s card that’s simple

and can be used for many different occasions is great to make up ahead

for that list of cards you may need at the last minute.

This weeks sketch design is a really easy card layout with not many layers.

The layers are really in the beautiful flowers.

Follow the photo step tutorial measurements and by changing the

direction of the layout & you will get so many different styles of cards.

The sketches are just a great creative idea that helps you make beautiful cards.

I love a good sketch idea, I even find them from a scrapbook page,

we can always downsize it to make into colorful card to brighten someone day.
