Happy Card Sketch Day # 272
This weeks card sketch is a multi directional sketch, which means this sketch will
look great any which way you turn it to design your card layout.
I love designs that work in all directions plus this gives it a totally different look .
Try looking at the stamp sets and dies in the catalogs upside down too,
this will give you a new perspective & maybe something new you hadn’t thought of before .
- For example one of my sweet viewers from my Glitter Pit live last week….
Chrysteen Yaughn: mentioned in her comment that the
Raindrops Embossing Folder # 160554
would be very cleaver if used for Sesame Seed’s on a bun .
That was such an awesome suggestion to use this embossing folder
for something that’s totally unexpected.
I had a ton of fun playing the the Share a Milkshake bundle # 160396
for my twist on this weeks card sketch # 272.
No matter the season this stamp set is perfect for all those you want to
send a yummy little treat to especially if they really love milkshakes and ice cream~ YUM!
I did some stamp surgery on my greeting, like you all know I love to do,
just by splitting up the words by cutting them into sections with my
This gives me more mileage to my greetings compared to the way they were put on the stamp.
Those pretty pink gems on my background are the
In Color 2021/2023 Opal Rounds #159185
The photo didn’t capture all those adorable polka dots on that small piece of
Sweet Sorbet Cardstock # 159268
when I used the Basic 3D Embossing folders #161598
from the Online Exclusives HERE
this polka dot folder I used reminds me of those “Pop It Fidget” toys that are popular.
Those are really fun and so are these polka dots to add a bunch of interest on my
card sketch sample this week.
Three very cute embossing folders over there in the combo pack, you will get all three 3D Embossing folders .
I will be sure to show you this card and those polka dots this Wednesday in the Glitter Pit.
- Enjoy your day stampers!
Thanks so much for peeking in today friends !

Great card sketch! And what a great idea Chrysteen shared about the Raindrops embossing folder! Thank you for sharing 😉
Thank you Dawn for, as always, sharing awesome ideas and photos! I do love the Share a Milkshake set and dies.
Love it and thanks for sharing!
How the heck do you do all this I am overwhelmed with it. You must be exhausted. I do cards and embroidery for a booth in a shop and I can never keep up. Your amazing you will be like me still going at 87. By the way I am from Detroit now living in Florida. But have family in the suburbs. I have a dealer I started with but will try and order also from you. I forgot to add I am raising Monarch Butterflies. Plant milkweed. Judy
Thanks for the details on this card I’m trying to think of new layouts and this helps have a good day
I don’t understand about stamping the dish of ice cream on this sheet of stamps. The level top of the secondary stamp and the wavy line out to the left. How do you use the small dish and the second stamp that stamps above it?
