Update on my Father In Law:
He was officially been put on Hospice this past Monday.
The hospice nurse believes he doesn’t have much longer,
UPDATE:
My FIL has passed away this morning,
Wednesday Dec 18, 2024 at 9:50am
since he has stopped eating and drinking and is finding it much harder to swallow.
They have him on a higher dose of morphine to keep him comfortable.
We are heading back down to TN as soon as Richard gets home
We are not sure how long we will be down there.
We would appreciate all your prayers.

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your father-in-law. It is tough to lose a loved one anytime but the Holidays always seem to be hard. Both our parents are gone now & it changes the feelings of the Holidays forever.

So sorry, please tell Richard I am sorry for his loss. Ed’s brother had passed away 3 years ago yesterday. It’s never easy this time of the year. My grandma had passed on Dec 31st, 6 years ago, at least I think, it’s all a blur……

My heart goes out to you and Richard’s family. It’s hard losing someone close to the holidays.
I lost my disabled 46 yr old in July and this is going to be a very hard 1st Christmas without him.
I’ll be praying for a safe trip there and back.
