Happy Monday friends!
While I am away I have pre scheduled all my daily blog posts for you in advance so even though I am away cruising with SU! Please still come to visit for something new each day this week .
I am sooo excited to share with you the 1st batch of my Glitter Queens swap cards that we swapped at my downline meeting with Shelli .
Believe me it has been so hard not to share these fabulous cards with you back when the event took place on April 7, 2010 But I thought it would be fun to share them with you while I was cruising instead . There were a total of 8 of us who swapped so this will be broken down into part 1( today) and part 2 ( Tomorrow ) .

Next card comes from Erica Ballinger ( remember her ? her and her cop hubby were mentioned in Jess & Ashs video HERE. Her card is sooo stinkin cute and I love this cupcake and I must admit I just about lost my breath with all the fabulous dazzling on her card .. Just amazing Erica Love it !
Next card comes from Judy Boggs. WOW what a super cute card and all those angles I hope Judy posts in the comments below on how she made her card cause it is amazing in real life . Thank you Judy !

I am a 70 year old grandma who barely uses the computer and does not know how to blog. If you google Valita’s designs and fresh folds, you will find this lady’s wonderful tutorial. I followed her instructions but added a lace effect using the scalloped border punch with WWCS to make a narrow strip, cutting it very close to the scalloped edge and gluing each strip under each folded edge. I used the Abundant Hope stamp set, coloring it in with various shades of yellow markers. The leaves were colored with certainly celery and old olive. CS: WW and more mustard. It reminds me of my grandmother’s handkerchiefs. I hope this helps. I’m SO glad you liked my card.
