Hi Stampers,

Happy Sunday friends !

This past Friday afternoon I went over to my friend Peggy’s home

and we got to make this awesome advent calendar .

Pretty simple to make ~ just lots of cutting

which Peggy did all the prep work ( thank you Peggy ).

Peggy, Lisa and I all had such a fabulous time creating this advent calendar .

I can film a video on how we made ours ( thanks Peggy & Lisa )

Here are our finished calendars .

So stinking cute !

I decided to leave the numbers off mine for the time being ….

I may add them later.

The bow on top is really really cute .

Peggy is the queen of bow making, her job is also a creative one at Bordines

When Christmas rolls around look out….. Peggy is totally in her element ( seriously).

Update on the 1st round of pre ordering the Stamparatus

I have heard from so many of you that got your pre-order in

and then I heard from so many of you

that didn’t get your’s pre-ordered .

The pre order filled up so quickly~

actually it filled up in 15 minutes .

Remember~ when I had mentioned that this was a whole new way

that Stampin’Up! was using for releasing this brand new fantastic tool.

Typically Stampin’Up! lets ONLY demonstrators get things early.

This was the 1st time they opened it up to everyone,

and with that ~ it filled up very FAST .

I think it was a record how quick it filled up~ especially when Stampin’Up! had listed a

period of days the pre order was open for.

Many ( hundreds/thousands ) demonstrators

didn’t get their pre order in either .

The pre order of this amazing tool has got everyone really excited 🙂

The good news is that the

2nd round of pre order

opens on December 5th.

I personally hope that everyone that did

get in for the 1st round of pre order doesn’t

pre order another

since this Stamparatus

will be in the next Stampin’Up! annual catalog.

We do NOT want to be greedy.

I hope everyone get’s their Stamparatus pre ordered .

I would love to make this advent tree but I cannot find any boxes this color or size. We’re these the boxes SU had last year, are they cut with a die, or are they purchased already cut? I have found precut white favor boxes at the big box stores but no Kraft ones.

Lovely idea! This would also make a neat countdown to a special birthday (21, 30, 60, etc)

I am anxiously awaiting your video of the Advent Calendar boxes! My grandson just asked me if I was going to do an Advent Calendar for him again this year and I hadn’t planned on it because I thought he had probably aged out of it but the next day you had the one posted that you took part in and I definitely decided that was what I wanted to do but am running out of time. Will you be doing a video soon?
