Hi Stampers,
Happy Friday friends !
Today we will be making this awesome pocket card
that can hold money, photos
mine is holding a note insert with a gift card .
It’s such a simple card to make.
You will need (1) sheet of 8 1/2″x 11″
to make today’s card .
I will be using Basic Black card stock # 121045
and I am loving the
Springtime Foils designer paper # 147193
so we will be using that as well .
If you want to use the Springtime Foils designer paper
like me you will need to cut out at
least 2 pieces at 4″ x 5 1/4″ for the inside section
and then another piece for the front if you want in the same size .
I will also use
Whisper White card stock # 100730 cut (2) at 4″ x 5 1/4″
Insert layers are cut at
Basic Black 31/4″ x 4 3/4″
Lemon Lime Twist 3″x 4 1/2″
Whisper White cut at 2 3/4″ x 4 1/4″
Dawn’s Side Note
In today’s video I mention the insert
whisper white card stock is cut at 3 3/4″x 4 1/4″
that’s incorrect ….
it should be 2 3/4″x 4 1/4″
which is what I posted in the overlay in today’s video .
It’s NOT 3 3/4″x 4 1/4″
I know all you that cut layers know this would NOT work for the insert
I just wanted to clarify since
I didn’t have time to get that fixed in order to get it uploaded & posted for today .
I also made this adorable Panda card
all in the Lemon Lime twist colors ….
I wanted to show you the panda one but we will be
making the Celebrate YOU with the silver strips version today .
I thought I would show you the basics of how I made the card
with a few tips along the way…
I’m still playing catch up…
My Mom is feeling better and got out yesterday but still feeling breathy.
Thank you so much for your prayers and
your emails asking about how she is doing.

What a fun card! I can’t wait to give it a try.
So glad that your Mom is feeling better. What a cute card! Oh, the colors!!! I really like pocket cards and just may make a handful for my Spring cards.
Hugsssssss and Prayers,
Jesse (Inky)
So clever Dawn, and lovely bright colours.
I love the panda version!
What a wonderful design! Love how it makes two pockets that not only has room for gift card, but room for a couple of sentiments on the other side. This would work with so many of SU’s themes, such as the Myths and Magic stamp set.
Hope your mom get better quickly! Glad she is able to get out and about again.
panda guy is the best with glitter ballons!
I love this card and happy you have written directions. You talk so fast I can’t keep up with you. I back played it 4 times to get the measurements. You used to put them on the screen too. Thanks! I am 75 and live in Indian River, MI.
Very cool idea for a gift card! You explain it so well I think I can do this! Thanks
Very cute gift cards! Thank you for sharing and explaining so well. Will be making some!!
Love the gift cards!! So many different options for this one. Thank you for sharing!
Love your card especially since it is a gift card holder. Thanks for sharing how to make it. I just adore your videos. Glad to hear your Mom is on the mend.
Hi Dawn,
I absolutely love ‘fun folds’ of any kind, I think they just make a card just that little more special for the recipient. Love this ‘fun fold’ of yours Dawn, thank you for sharing it with us crafters. :O)
I have just come across your site via another stamper on Pinterest & am very glad I did.
I really like the variety of cards you made & your video is very well done & your directions are very clear. I have to say, you remind me of my friend who passed away from cancer last summer. She loved bling & her wedding ring was very similar to yours. She loved to laugh & we used to lead worship at our very small church. I am soprano & she sang alto. I miss her.
Thanks for sharing your talent Dawn!
