It’s that time again,
It’s card sketch Monday & this week we hit #70.
Still amazing to me it’s been 70 weeks with 70 different card sketches.
The sketches help all of us to kick start those
creative juices to start flowing.
I really hope you’re having fun with the card sketch challenge each week .
I had finally opened and got to use the gorgeous
Life is Grand stamp set # 148744 .
This set is so beautiful.
Yes it’s a “greeting” stamp set
but the way the greetings stamp are just so awesome .
I really hope the photo’s capture the way they stamp.
That is not a technique I did to create the stamped “Hello, Dear Friend”
that’s just how the stamps stamp in this set.
It seriously couldn’t be a more simple card sketch design
but that greeting really pulls everything together.
I used the Calypso Coral card stock #122925
and Calypso Coral classic ink #122925
along with
Grapefruit Grove card stock #146972.
The designer paper is the FREE Painted Seasons # 149574

This is one awesome sketch, which I”m going to use today. I’m loving the cheery orange on such a dreary day!

Hi Dawn! Another great sketch. Love the card example that you did with it. Gorgeous colors and the stamp set is awesome. Love how the stamp takes up enough room on the card that the stamper doesn’t really need another image.
I love your card sketches. Always look forward to Mondays to see what new sketch you have created. This card is especially beautiful because orange is my favorite color. Love your tutorials and get some great ideas. I have been cardmaking for about 25 years, so I can sure use the help from your tutorials for new ideas.

So cute, I’ve gone back and forth on this stamp set. Seeing it done on a card makes a big difference . I really like it and I love the color orange. Great job Dawn!!

I have been only watching your videos for about 6 months now and love every one. You are so cute and have such great energy. I just lately have been coming to your blog. I loved reading about you and your story.
I have a lot to catch up on. I followed Gina Kaye for a long time but haven’t seen anything from her for a while now. So it makes me very happy that we have you.

I really like the Life Is Grand stamp set! I’ve seen the “wish” used a lot but I really love how you did the “hello”. I’m not a fan of orange but your combo is GREAT! Another sweet card to send to my friend who is battling cancer #3.
