Hi Dawn greetings from Australia. So glad you are feeling better, hope everything goes well with your vac dressing.Talk to your doctor sooner rather than later about flying. ( nurse speak drs don’t like surprises) but normally you can travel and as you say it’s 8 weeks away. Good luck and sending prayers your way.

As a nurse, formerly working in a Thoracic, Cardio, Vascular post operative unit, I have seen many miracles with the use of wound vacs. Great that you are getting the vac & nursing visits. Sound like you have a good Doc too! Sending prayers for healing.
