We will be doing another fun Faux leather technique
this time we will be using Masking Tape .
You my remember a couple weeks ago we
did the faux leather technique with the
Snowfall Accent Puff Paint #150691 HERE
I am also highlighting another
Faux Leather technique in today’s You Tube video
which we touched on a couple weeks ago LIVE in the Glitter Pit.
Then in the Glitter Pit we used a different color
for the masking tape faux leather

with Pretty Peacock with the
Merry Moose bundle ( shown below) .
I’m having so much fun with the masking tape that
I made a couple other versions using the Mossy Meadow with the
Merry Moose bundle 153015 # and the
Peaceful Boughs bundle # 153033
( shown below)
I showed these to you LIVE in the Glitter Pit yesterday .

Love this! I did the tape technique years ago with my kids. They covered a soup can and made a note holder for their dad for Father’s Day. He still has iron his desk! Thanks for the fun memory for me!

Great technique! Thanks for sharing the different techniques for faux leather. This will be great for a masculine card as well. I like the Merry Merlot and Mossy Meadow. Using the white masking tape will make a big difference, can’t wait to see the comparison. I enjoy watching your videos. I have made several of your “interactive” cards for birthday cards and everyone loves them!

Boy, who knew there were so many techniques to create faux leather on a card? I have to say that my favorite technique is the Snowfall Accents Puff Paint, but I have to admit the masking tape one is a close second. You created a whole bunch of awesome cards for us. Now it is time for us to get busy and play with these techniques! Thanks, Dawn!
