Triple Shutter Door Fold Video – Dawn’s Stamping Thoughts
Today’s Triple Shutter Door Fold Video is from yesterday’s Glitter Pit LIVE.
I also posted the replay below along with the PDF for all the
measurements to make this super cute card.
We made the cutest card using the Peekaboo Farm stamp set
This stamp set is available and is carrying over to the new 2022/23 Stampin’Up! Annual catalog- YAY! .
Today’s Glitter Pit Replay we will be stamping and coloring a few pieces to show you
exactly how I designed today’s card PLUS we will be making this adorable fun fold card step by step.
I also shared the retired Awesome Otters stamp set with the
Simply Marbleous Designer paper.
The otters and designer Paper are from this years past Sale-a-Bration,
this shutter door card with those cute otters is super cute too .
I used Bermuda Bay cardstock for this Awesome Otters version
Measurements :
Thick Basic White Cardstock #159229
cut at 4 1/8″ x 5 7/8″ – frame
- Both long sides cut from 5/8″ down to 5 1/4″
- Both short sides cut from 5/8″ down to 3 1/2″
Basic White Cardstock # 159276
cut at 4 1/8″ x 5 7/8″ -base
cut six at 1 3/8″ x 2 3/4″ – layers for shutter doors
Making of the moving shutter doors :
- Basic White cut three at 2 1/8″ x 4 1/8″ – shutter doors that move.
Score three sides (two short and one long side) at 5/8″ ( 1/8″ past the 1/2″).
The one long side ONLY score up to 5/8″ previous score line on both ends .
Cut and remove the scored LONG center piece, & only cut tabs on the non scored long side
and miter the inside of tabs about 1/8″ with paper snips .
Optional
cut two at 1 3/8″ x 4 1/8″
cut at 2 1/8″ x 4 1/8″
because the base is Basic White cardstock
we will be stamping right on the base with greetings.
